About Us

Formed in 1989, by Brian Smith and Steve White, Beatroute Disco has over 18 years experience performing to thousands of happy people all over the North East. We are based in Sunderland, and cover all the surrounding areas.

We have learned over the years that it takes a few key ingredients to make a great party, good people, food, drink and most importantly music to get the right atmosphere, if you can provide the first 3 Beatroute Disco will do the rest !!

With our profession manner, sense of fun, and most importantly, wide musical knowledge we provide the very best in mobile disco and Karaoke entertainment. Music spanning every decade from 50/50 dancing through to the current chart hits. All of our equipment is top quality, ensuring a great sound and an impressive lighting show, with smoke, Lasers and bubbles where appropriate. 

We will conform to any dress code - Black Tie, Fancy Dress, or, of course, anything in between! We are experienced in all sizes of events - from a small room in a private residence, through to the Ramside hall ballroom where Brian was resident DJ for 2 years, and becoming a specialist in wedding entertainment.

All of our Equipment & lighting effects can be set-up earlier in the day, if necessary, without any additional cost to you, we also carry spare equipment to every job.

When working with a live band, we will check that our set and the band's set compliment each other and that songs are not duplicated. We will also cater for you and your guest musical tastes, by offering a pre-party chat to organize the nights music and events in advance.

All of out equipmetn is PAT tested! And we are fully insured!
